Prague Life Drawing

I promise less boring things than life drawing for the next few posts, but here's just a small bit of the life drawing I did out there. Though I'm showing more of the landscape drawings/watercolors, I did way more people drawing out here but I know that's kind of boring to look at...I just upload it because I enjoy doing it so much.

And a note for the watercolors and landscape stuff...all mostly very simplified/rushed cause I had to stop when my family wanted to leave. Oh gawd, sounds like I'm making excuses for myself...no I'm not going for that.

Also, Prague was awesome. And it sparked something in me that's been dead(or at least dormant) artistically speaking.

Okay, enough rambling, now let's go...drawings!

The ones on the right are memory drawings. Bottom left drawing is me(saw myself in a reflection).

Mixed Media Experiment

Just an extensive experiment from my sketchbook. A mix of watercolor, pen, marker and glitter glue. I didn't really think of composition when making this as I didn't think much would come of it when I started so that's kind of lacking, but I love how all the mediums worked together. More mixed media to come, that's for sure.

Zoo Scribbles

Went to the artists day at Como Zoo on Sunday morning. Here are some of my better sketches of the animals.

African Lioness
First attempt at watercoloring at the zoo. I need way more practice with that obviously.

South African Penguins

Massive Art Post

Finally got access to the good school scanner, so here's a few things that I created since December 2009. Once I find my digital camera, I'll try and get some pictures of my paintings soonish. And I'll try my best to posting to this more frequently, though this sparatic uploading isn't surprising. I was never very good at keeping up with a diary even though I attempted many times, so if I disappear again for a little bit-that's why.

This is a just a page of an art game I've been playing to make my lines more confident. Basically any line I draw, I have to fully commit to and make it work. And it has been working, I feel like my line quality is much better now after playing this game.

I've always thought Rudolph isn't as great as he is portrayed, in fact, he's probably a jerk in real life.

Below are life-drawings I did with watercolors and ink.
